Five Miles West of the Texas border in the small town of Hobbs, NM you will find this energetic and very entertaining band.  They pride themselves in thier own UNIQUE but growingly POPULAR sound which falls in the Texas Country or Red Dirt Country genre.  The members of this band have played in several other bands in genres ranging from Rock, Punk, and country and have all collaborated together to give them their one of a kind sound.  With the great voice and superb songwriting skills of Lead Singer Steven Thomas, the crowd pleasing and entertaining Ethin Thomas, the awesome bass runs and mastermind of music in Bass Player Big Dave Criswell, the rockin' guitar licks of Derek Stephens, and the excellent drum playing of Van Davis, Five Miles West is gaining new fans everyday!
